Washing symbols
No bleaching - no problem.
A double line means it's a wool wash and needs to be a gentle wash cycle.
The hand gives it away - these clothes should only be hand washed.
Stay clear of the dry cleaner when you see this symbol and your clothes will thank you for it.
A single line means a synthetic wash on a medium to gentle cycle. The temperature needs to be what's on the label.
Cotton wash on the hottest cycle your machine has.
Drying symbols
Raining outside? No worries - just throw your clothes in the dryer.
Don't use a tumble-dryer - simply hang your clothes out to dry.
Dry your clothes flat if you can.
Ironing symbols
